A fire destroyed a vacant building in downtown Little Rock on Saturday afternoon, officials say.
The Little Rock Fire Department received a report of a fire at 908 Scott St. about 2:15 p.m. from neighbors.
Crews had the blaze under control in about 30 minutes, Little Rock Fire Department spokesman Capt. Jason Weaver said, but at about 3:30 p.m. areas of the building were still smoldering.
The building was undergoing remodeling and was unoccupied at the time of the fire, Weaver said.
Weaver said it’s not yet clear what caused the fire.
