Promise Me Silver knows nothing but gold.

Ridden by Cliff Berry, the 3-year-old filly rolled to a victory in the $100,000 Instant Racing Stakes and improved to 7 for 7 for her career.

Promise Me Silver, the 4-5 favorite, overcame a wide trip down the backstretch but began rolling at the top of the stretch. She completed the 6-furlong race for 3-year-old fillies in 1:10.03, beating runner-up Harbour Island by 21/4 lengths.

"It went kind of like I thought it would," trainer Bret Calhoun said. "I thought there was quite a bit of pace in there and we were on the outside, which was a great post position for us. I do think we got carried wide. I was hoping we could overcome that.

"She's very versatile. The position allowed us to run that kind of race today. ... When Cliff pulled the trigger, she accelerated."

Promise Me Silver paid $3.60, $2.60 and $2.10. Harbour Island paid $5.60 and $3.20. Indian Brava paid 2.20 to show.

Promise Me Silver is scheduled to run in the $200,000 Grade III Eight Belles Stakes on May 1 at Churchill Downs.
