Baskin Robbins in Little Rock robbed at gunpoint

A Little Rock Baskin Robbins was robbed at gunpoint Monday night, police said.

No one was injured in the holdup, which happened shortly before 10 p.m. at the location at 10102 Rodney Parham Road.

According to a Little Rock Police Department report, the robber pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded the worker open the safe.

The employee said he couldn't do so and instead opened the register and handed over the cash inside, the report said. The robber ran north from the business after taking the money.

Officers searched the area — and found two $20 bills in the parking lot — but didn't locate the robber.

The gunman is described as a black man in his early-to-mid 20s who stood about 5-foot-9, weighed 170 pounds and wore a black hat, black hoodie and black pants. A blue bandanna covered part of his face.
