Work on Interstate 430 near its interchange with Interstate 40 in North Little Rock will require lane closures over the weekend, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
Placing concrete for the widening of I-430 southbound will require closing the I-430 southbound inside lane near the interchange beginning at 9 p.m. Friday and lasting until 6 a.m. Monday, weather permitting.
The work is part of a $38.4 million project to widen 5.1 miles of I-40 to six lanes between I-430 and Arkansas 365.
