Classic choreography

Ballet Arkansas welcomes spring with its annual “mixed repertory show” that combines different styles of dance into one production. Who Cares?, choreographed by George Balanchine and set to music by George Gershwin, is this year’s headlining piece for the show, 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, 601 Main St. Other pieces include “Facade” by Hilary Wolfley and the pas de deux from Lady of the Camellias by Val Caniparoli. Jumping off point

East Arkansas Community College closes out its 2014-15 Spotlight Series with big hitters from Nashville. The Time Jumpers, featuring Vince Gill, Kenny Sears and “Ranger Doug” Green, are set to perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the college’s Fine Arts Center, 1700 Newcastle Road, Forrest City. Morality plays

Divorce brings thought-provoking, humorous challenges in The Modern Day Esther. The play, written and directed by Teretha Lowe, will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday in Philander Smith College’s M.L. Texas troubadours

John Hagen, Marcus Collins and JC Fisher, also known as The Texas Tenors, perform a mix of country, classical and Broadway as part of the University of Central Arkansas Public Appearances Series. Fellowship Bible Church of Batesville opens its doors for an afternoon of appetizers, music and artwork with the third annual Gallery Imago, 4-6 p.m. Sunday. Relive the age of chivalry at the Renaissance and Fantasy Faire of the Ozarks, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday at the Washington County Fairgrounds, Fayetteville. The fair has a children’s area with games and crafts, a jousting troupe, archery and bird of prey demonstrations and a marketplace. New images

The Argenta Art Gallery celebrates its newest exhibit, “Eluvium and Formation: Abstracted Landscapes,” with an Argenta ArtWalk reception, 5-8 p.m. Friday. The exhibit has new paintings by LaDawna Whiteside and glass sculpture by Ed Pennebaker and will continue for show and sale through May 8. Southeast Arkansas will see stars at the annual Stardaze festival, Friday-Saturday.
