Music legend Bob Dylan and his band will make a stop at the Orpheum Theatre, 203 S. Main St., Memphis, at 8 p.m. April 30.
The profoundly influential singer-songwriter is known for songs such as "Blowin' in the Wind," "Lay Lady Lay" and "Like a Rolling Stone." Dylan won a Grammy for album of the year with his 1997 work Time Out of Mind. His current album is Shadows in the Night, which features classic American songs, some of which are associated with Frank Sinatra.

Dancing beauty
The Western Arkansas Ballet will take audiences on a fairy tale journey when it presents The Sleeping Beauty, 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. April 26 at the ArcBest Corps Performing Arts Center, 55 S. Seventh St., Fort Smith.

William Florian, once the lead vocalist for The New Christy Minstrels, takes audiences back to the 1960s with a tribute to folk music. The Clinton Presidential Center's Great Hall, 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, will ring with the melodies of "Mendelssohn, Mozart & Brahms" as the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra presents the final concert of the 2014-15 Landers FIAT River Rhapsodies Series.
The ASO's Quapaw and Rockefeller string quartets and other musicians will present the concert of chamber music that features Mendelssohn's String Quartet in f minor, Op.80, Mozart's Oboe Quartet in F Major, K.370 and Brahms' String Quintet in G, Op.111 at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas closes out its 60th anniversary season with its pops finale: "A Night at the Movies." Youths ages 10-18 who want to spend part of their summer learning the art of stagecraft get their chance with the Youth Theatre of Central Arkansas' Summer Intensive Program, June 1-27.
Sponsored by University of Central Arkansas Theatre, the month-long training session ends with public performances at 7 p.m. June 25-26 and 2 p.m. June 27 in UCA's Bridges/Larson Theatre, 201 Donaghey Ave.

The Fort Smith Little Theatre is preparing for its early summer production with auditions, 7 p.m. Monday-Tuesday at the theater, 401 N. Sixth St., Fort Smith.
The Best of Everything, telling the story of a group of women in the 1950s, was written by Rona Jaffe, adapted by Julie Kramer and directed by Micki Voelkel and will be performed May 28-June 7. The cast calls for six women ages 20-45 and two to five men ages 20-60. Auditions will be cold readings from the script.

Traveling band
Wildwood Park brings a fairy tale to musical life for school children with its latest Art to Go touring production, visiting elementary schools, parks and libraries around the state, May 8-22.
The Bremen Town Musicians, based on the Brothers Grimm folktale, is an operetta with music by composers including Jacques Offenbach, Gioachino Rossini and Giuseppe Verdi and with lyrics by John Davis. Performances, directed by Bevan Keating, are 45 minutes long and will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Performance fee is $400.
