What is it? A workout shirt with stretchy resistance bands sewn into the arms that can provide 35 pounds of resistance.

Say what? This "resistance shirt" is the brainchild of former world boxing champion Keith Holmes.

"Resistance bands are in almost every gym," Holmes says, but they are tricky to adjust and don't always seem sanitary. So he asked his dry cleaner to sew a stretch band into the back of a compression shirt and let the ends dangle by his hands so he could shadowbox while jogging.

"My muscles were burning," raves Holmes, who exercised with this prototype for three years, shortening the band and adding padding for comfort.

He says RS-1 is for boxers or mall walkers, and it is machine washable.
