A North Little Rock man and woman have been charged in a string of similar robberies committed this year, authorities said Monday.

Detrict Montez Holloway, 29, of North Little Rock surrendered Friday at the Sherwood Police Department, according to an arrest report.

Police said he gave a “detailed statement” admitting to robbing the Gas N Go store at 300 Lake Lane on Feb. 2 and the Subway at 11100 Baucum Pike on April 14 using a replica handgun, a North Little Rock Police Department report states.

Cash was taken from the registers of both North Little Rock businesses, police said.

Holloway is also being held in a pair of Sherwood robberies, according to Pulaski County jail records. His bail in one of the Sherwood robberies has been set at $25,000.

Officers also arrested Niyailieka Brooks, 20, of North Little Rock at her home Monday afternoon, according to an arrest report.

Brooks gave a statement admitting to driving the vehicle during both of the robberies, police said. She is being held in the Pulaski County jail with bond not yet set.
