Man accused of twice stealing 70-inch TVs from air force base

A 24-year-old Austin man is accused of stealing a 70-inch television from a store on the Little Rock Air Force Base and then returning and taking another one on the same day.

Jonathen Roush is facing two counts of theft of property.

According to a Jacksonville Police Department report, Roush was captured on video Tuesday at the base exchange store loading the first, 70-inch LED television into a vehicle. He returned later that night with an empty box and left with a second, stolen 70-inch LED TV, the report says.

Investigators found the vehicle's license plate returned to Roush's father, according to the report. Roush was then identified by comparing the surveillance footage to his "current military dependent ID" and his driver's license, the report said.

He was arrested when he returned to the exchange store Wednesday.

Roush was no longer listed as an inmate at the Pulaski County jail on Thursday.
