A Little Rock woman accused her boyfriend of robbing her at gunpoint Thursday at her downtown apartment, police reported.

Officers responded at 8:24 a.m. to Penzel Place Apartments at 518 E. 7th St. Brandi Pack, 30, said she'd returned home and found that her boyfriend, Marlo Thompson, 24, had broken in, according to a police report. Pack told police Thompson threatened to strike her with the butt of a pistol and took $180 from her.

Thompson left in a white Cadillac DeVille, the report said.

The two had been in an argument earlier that day over a Facebook post and money that Pack owed Thompson, according to the report.

Officers searched the area but made no arrests.

Police: Man hit,

robbed by group

A man was held down and robbed at gunpoint by a group of men Thursday in southwest Little Rock, police reported.

Bederli Yunior, 23, told police he was exiting his vehicle at 4 Yorkton Drive about 10:30 p.m. when a black sport utility vehicle pulled up behind him, according to a police report. Yunior said four black men exited the SUV and one of them struck him in the head with a pistol.

The men held Yunior on the ground and took his cellphone before fleeing, the report stated.

Yunior declined medical treatment at the scene.

Police searched the area but made no arrests. Detailed descriptions of the suspects were unavailable.

Church employee:

Fought robbery try

A landscaper at a Little Rock church fought off an armed robber Thursday, according to a police report.

Officers responded at 4:38 p.m. to 1915 Commerce St.

Charles Mozell, 58, said he'd been mowing grass and performing other yard work at the Metropolitan Baptist Church when a man ran toward him and pulled out a rusty revolver, according to the report. The man asked Mozell, "What ya got for me?"

Mozell wrestled with the robber over possession of the gun, and the robber fled, the report stated.

No injuries were reported.

The assailant is described is black, standing 5 feet 5 inches and weighing 140 pounds.

Man hospitalized

in LR stick attack

A man was hospitalized Thursday after being attacked with a stick in a downtown Little Rock robbery, police reported.

Officers responded at 5:21 p.m. to Fred W. Paris Towers Apartments at 1800 S. Broadway. Joey Martin, 52, had a head injury. He was taken to UAMS Medical Center for treatment.

Martin told police two men had approached him near the apartments, asked if he was "old school" and struck him with a stick, according to a police report. The men took $30 from Martin and fled.

Officers searched the area but made no arrests.

The muggers are both described as black and between the ages of 20 and 25, one standing 5 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds, the other as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 pounds.

Man raps on door,

is found shot in LR

Little Rock police are investigating a Friday night shooting.

According to an email from police spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen, an unidentified man banged on a door in the 200 block of Congressional Circle about 9:20 p.m. Friday and asked for the occupants to call the police. Police responded and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound.

No further details were available Friday night, Allen said.
