Hiking Club

Hill N' Dale Hiking Club will hike Bashore Ridge Loop Trail at Hobbs State Park on Thursday. The hikers will depart from the Bella Vista Harps upper parking area at 8:30 a.m. and carpool to Hobbs State Park Visitors Center. Trail length is 3 miles, 1.5 to 2 hours. Garden Club

The Bentonville Garden Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Tina Bogle. Nicki Dallison, manager of the Farmers Market and Community Garden, will be present the program.

The annual plant sale will be May 2 on the Bentonville square.

The Washington County Democratic Women will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Mermaids Restaurant in Fayetteville. Guest speaker will be attorney Matt Campbell, political blogger of the Blue Hog Report.

The Republican Party of Benton County will meet Tuesday at the Benton County Services Center, 1204 SW 14th St. in Bentonville. Networking is from 6:30 to 7 p.m., and the meeting starts at 7 p.m. Speaker will be Judge Bob Clinard.

Photographers

The Photographic Society of Northwest Arkansas will hold a class on commercial product photography at 7 p.m. Thursday at the PSNWA Gallery & Studios, 126 W. Emma Ave. in Springdale. Taught by former Arkansas Democrat-Gazette photographer Bob Coleman, the class will cover how to set up commercial photo shoots for the best lighting and product placement. Bring a camera.

The class is free to members and $15 for guests.

BACA

The Northwest Chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse will hold its next monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. May 3 in the conference center at Cabela's, 2300 Promenade Blvd. in Rogers.

All chapter meetings are open to the general public, and anyone interested in the organization is invited. Though patched membership requires motorcycle ownership, supporter status does not; all members and supporters must clear an N.C.I.C. background check.

Radio Club

The Little Switzerland Amateur Radio Club will meet at noon May 14 at the Rowdy Beaver Restaurant, 417 W. Van Buren in Eureka Springs, for the monthly lunch and meeting. Anyone with an interest in amateur radio is welcome.

The club meets at noon on the second Thursday of the month and at 6:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month.
