FAYETTEVILLE -- The Urban Forestry Advisory Board seeks nominations for the city's most sustainable landscapes.
Judges will select a residential and a commercial winner based on the following criteria: design and aesthetics; preservation of the natural environment; environmental best management practices; and attraction to wildlife. Winners will receive a certificate, medallion and recognition sign for their property.
To have a yard or business considered, applicants must be able to give judges a tour of their property between May 13 and May 31.
