A routine dam inspection will require temporary lane closures on Arkansas 187 in Carroll County, state Highway and Transportation Department officials said on Thursday.
Crews will inspect Beaver Dam, north of Eureka Springs, on Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
During the inspection, traffic will be reduced to one lane. Officials also said both lanes will be closed in 15 minute intervals, that could last up to 30 minutes during the inspection.
Traffic will be controlled using flaggers.
