The bride is the daughter of Victoria Ann and James Douglas Holloway of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Bonnie and Robert Lathrop and Daunis Holloway, all also of Little Rock, and Avis and Wallace Holloway of Springfield, Mo.
Parents of the groom are Kathy and Gary Douglas Self of Amory, Miss. His grandparents are Mary and John Wheat of Baton Rouge and Betty and Glynn Self of Kirby.
The chancel was decorated with arrangements of sterling roses, green hydrangeas and yellow tulips. Music was by organist Robert Lindley.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a slip dress with a sleeveless overlay of English net and lace with a high neckline. At her waist was an ivory belt beaded with rhinestones, pearls and crystals. She carried a bouquet of roses, tulips, dahlias and hydrangeas.
Carrie Lee of Little Rock served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Catherine Estes and Noel Hutcheson, both also of Little Rock, and Anne Harper of Memphis. Junior bridesmaid was Mackenzie Self of Alexander, daughter of the groom. They wore one-shoulder gowns of plum chiffon and carried purple bouquets of wedding flowers.
Jenna Berendzen, Lucy Berendzen, Blake Houlton and Max Morgan, all of Kansas City, Mo., and cousins of the bride, were in the children’s court.
Amber Self of Stockton, Calif., served as her brother’s honor attendant. Groomsmen were Sam Holloway and Chris Holloway, both of Little Rock and brothers of the bride, and Joshua DeCorte of Greenbrier.
A reception at Chenal Country Club followed the ceremony. Tables covered in lavender and gold cloths were centered with arrangements of blossoming cherry branches, lilacs and roses. Music was by the Memphis Soul Review.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rhodes College in Memphis and is a student at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, in the occupational therapy master’s program.
The groom is majoring in human resources and workforce development at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is a heart station tech supervisor at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
The couple will live in Alexander after a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico.
