BLYTHEVILLE -- A Mississippi County district judge has issued warrants for the arrest of two Blytheville men in the fatal shooting of a man in Williams Park in June, police said Monday.
Capt. Scott Adams of the Blytheville Police Department said police are searching for Daniel "DyNasty" Johnson, 24, and Anfernee Xavier Wells, 25, in the death of Vincent Stone, 22, of Blytheville.
Adams said Stone was shot several times while playing basketball in Blytheville's Williams Park on the evening of June 22.
Stone was taken to Great River Medical Center in Blytheville and later flown by medical helicopter to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, where he died from his injuries.
Adams said Daniels and Johnson should be considered dangerous and asked anyone who has information about the two men to call the Blytheville Police Department.
