Zoës Kitchen, a fast-casual restaurant serving a menu of Mediterranean-inspired dishes, will open in Fayetteville on Aug. 18. The restaurant at 3379 N. College Ave, Suite 8, will be the company's 158th location and its first in Arkansas.
Zoës Kitchen is giving away 500 meals at the new location in Fayetteville, and entrants to a contest will have a chance to win a grand prize of free Zoës for a year. The contest runs through Aug. 18 and can be entered on the restaurant's Facebook page.
The menu includes items that are predominantly preservative- and additive-free. Signature dishes include salads, chicken kabobs, chicken rollups and hummus. Zoës Kitchen also offers a variety of gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. There are no fryers or microwaves at Zoës.
Guests can dine in, order online or call ahead for takeout. Also available for purchase are a variety of fully prepared "Dinners for Four" for the hungry family on the go and "Fresh Takes" by the pint. Zoës' catering menu includes box lunches, party trays and hot meals for any business occasion or social gathering that can be delivered locally.
Zoës' College Marketplace location seats about 84 guests in the dining room, including an outdoor patio which seats 36. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. The new location also plans to offer beer and wine.
Pei Wei restaurant set to open Monday
Pei Wei, a fast-casual restaurant serving an Asian-inspired menu, opens its first Rogers location Monday at 4895 W. Pauline Whitaker Blvd., near the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion.
The 3,166-square-foot restaurant has 50 employees and offers made-to-order dishes with a variety of customizedmenu items, including hand-rolled sushi and a Kung Pao dish, available three ways.
This is the second Pei Wei in Arkansas. It is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday for dine-in and takeout customers. Takeout orders can be placed by calling (479) 464-7900 or visiting the Pei Wei website
Diners at all Pei Wei locations have the option to use Apple Pay.
Pei Wei owns and operates 196 restaurants in 25 states and the District of Columbia and licenses the Pei Wei brand for use by partner restaurant operators in airport and international locations.
