In LR shooting, 1 critically hurt

Little Rock police officers responded early Sunday morning to a shooting that left one person in critical condition.

The shooting occurred at 2:11 a.m. Sunday at 9601 Colonel Glenn Road, where officers found an unidentified man with a gunshot wound, Little Rock police officer Richard Hilgeman said.

The man was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center in critical condition, Hilgeman said. Police did not release any additional information about the victim.

Police reports said the victim was inside his home when he and his family members heard several vehicles and people outside the residence on the road.

Family members told police that they heard several gunshots and then saw vehicles drive away.

An investigation is ongoing, Hilgeman said.
