Video-producing firm moves, alters name

Jones Film Video has changed its name to M-3 Productions and moved Wednesday into its new home at the corner of Main and Third streets in Little Rock's creative corridor.

Located across the street from advertising and public relations firm CJRW, the video-production company changed its name to reflect its move. The company was founded in 1981 by Gary Jones and was located on West Sixth Street.

Debbie Grace, vice president and managing director of M-3 Productions, said in a news release that the new location offers state-of-the-art technology and studio facilities in the form of a 2,000-square-foot soundstage and a 61-foot cyclorama wall with green screen and multiple background options, as well as a 14-foot lighting grid.

M-3 is expanding its services to include audio production as well as video production, the release said.

Arkansas featured in airline's magazine

Arkansas will be featured in this month's United Airlines in-flight magazine, the Arkansas Economic Development Commission said Wednesday.

The 28-page feature in the magazine, Hemispheres, includes information about the state that will interest business leaders, the agency said in a news release.

"Arkansas has a great story to tell, and in order to be competitive on the world stage we must find innovative ways to share our story globally," Gov. Asa Hutchinson said in a statement.

Commission spokesman Scott Hardin said the commission paid $27,900 for a full-page ad in the section.

The feature on Arkansas will be on all of United Airlines' flights for August and on the magazine's website for a year.
