"Disparate Acts Redux: Bailin, Criswell, Peters," works by artists David Bailin, Warren Criswell and Sammy Peters, opens Friday in the galleries of the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, 401 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock. Brides-to-be and their entourages can sort through flowers, gowns and bands all in one spot at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Fall Bridal Show, 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the Statehouse Convention Center. In addition to more than 100 wedding-related vendors, the show includes contests and prizes, and a runway fashion show at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 at the door, $10 online and $25 for VIB tickets. In honor of President Bill Clinton's birthday and the start of the new school year, the Clinton Presidential Center, 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, will host a free admission day and Head of the Class Bash on Saturday. Admission to the center's exhibits, including "Dinosaurs Around the World," is free, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. At the bash, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., the first 1,500 students to visit the center will receive a free backpack and school supplies, haircuts, immunizations and tutorials while families also participate in activities. Contemporary art and community development are the focus of two exhibits opening at the Historic Arkansas Museum, 200 E. Third St., Little Rock. Friday marks the opening of a collection of contemporary works by Katherine Rutter and Ginny Sims, which will run through Nov. 8, and "PopUp in the Rock: The Exhibit," a display of photography and 3-D installations about the community development group that continues through Oct. 4. 5 BLEND

Gallery 221 is hosting the artist's version of the "Mad Hatter's Tea Party," with Round Robin, 5-8 p.m. Friday. For the event, visitors will watch as artists create pieces by shifting from one artwork to another throughout the evening. The exhibit will remain on display through Aug. 31. Friday also marks the opening of "Satirical Specs," with works from private collections, up through Sept. 9. The Arkansas Walk of Fame, along the sidewalk by the Visitors Center, 629 Central Ave., Hot Springs, will induct the late Western actress-singer Dale Evans; the late Hot Springs, Razorback and pro football player Alton Baldwin; and the late fisherman Carl Richey "Cotton" Cordell Jr. in a ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Five-Star Dinner Theatre, 701 Central Ave., Hot Springs.
