'Cosby Show' star to speak at UAPB

PINE BLUFF -- Keshia Knight Pulliam, a child star who portrayed Rudy in the award-winning Cosby Show, will be the featured speaker during Welcome Back Week at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, according to the university's Office of Student Involvement and Leadership website.

The free, public event will be held Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. in the J.M. Ross auditorium of the Hathaway-Howard Fine Arts building. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

In addition to her work in the entertainment business, Knight-Pulliam started the Kamp Kizzy Foundation in 2010 and a free mentorship camp for youth ages 11-16 in Atlanta. She is also working on launching Project James, a mentoring camp designed specifically for boys ages 11-16, in addition to Kamp Kizzy International Bahamas.
