Police were investigating the death of a southwest Little Rock man who was fatally shot when he went outside to check the circuit breakers on his house late Wednesday night.
Officers responded to 11511 Legion Hut Road at 9:59 p.m. and found Samuel Robinson, 60, police spokesman Lt. Steven McClanahan said. Police initiated emergency procedures, but Robinson died at the scene.
McClanahan said Robinson had gone outside to check his breakers after the power went off in his house. Police were canvassing the neighborhood for any witnesses, he said.
No further information was available Wednesday night.
