Man sought in Blytheville slaying

BLYTHEVILLE — Authorities in Blytheville have obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect in a shooting that occurred during a brawl between two Blytheville families that left one person dead and 11 others injured.

Capt. Scott Adams of the Blytheville Police Department said Thursday investigators are searching for 27-year-old Billy Dee Williams. Investigators said Williams is a suspect in the Aug. 8 shooting death of 19-year-old Adline King.

King was shot about 11 p.m. on the city's west side. She was transported by friends to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries. Authorities said King and another woman, who both have children fathered by the same man, were at the center of the argument.

Adams said anyone with knowledge of where Williams may be should contact the Blytheville Police Department.
