Authorities are still investigating the death of a 41-year-old Hamburg man whose remains were found earlier this month in rural Drew County.
A Drew County woman was arrested and charged Aug. 6 with first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse after authorities found human remains on private property in Drew County that same day, according to the Drew County sheriff's office.
Those remains were later found to belong to Sam Arnold, whose family filed a missing-person report July 27, according to the Arkansas State Police, which is also investigating the case.
Heather Hackett, 29, remained in custody Friday in lieu of $250,000 bond at the Drew County jail.
