Chelsea Clinton talk moves venues

Chelsea Clinton's speech in Little Rock next month has been moved from the Great Hall at the Clinton Presidential Center to the Statehouse Convention Center.

Skip Rutherford, dean of the Clinton School of Public Service, said the demand for reservations has outstripped the Great Hall's 400-seat capacity.

Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, is the 1,000th speaker in the Clinton School lecture series. She will sign her book -- It's Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going! -- after the speech, which is part of the Frank and Kula Kumpuris Distinguished Lecture Series.

The speech at the Statehouse Convention Center at 1 Statehouse Plaza in downtown Little Rock is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sept. 18. Admission is free and open to the public. Seats can be reserved by emailing publicprograms@clintonschool.uasys.edu or calling (501) 683-5239.
