Family: North Little Rock tradition

Since the early ’90s, North Little Rock High School seniors have welcomed the incoming junior class by adorning students' front lawns, bushes and trees with toilet paper, signs and spray-painted junk.

The class of 2016 carried on the tradition Aug. 16, filling North Little Rock lawns (and the occasional roof) with mattresses, paper shreds, cereal, plastic wrap, and yes, plenty of toilet paper streaming from trees.

For a look at the tradition, and its day-after cleanup, see Wednesday’s Family section.
