Wonder-ful tickets

Tickets -- $39.50, $59.50, $89.50, $129.50 (plus applicable service charges) -- go on sale at Ticketmaster outlets at 10 a.m. Saturday for Stevie Wonder's "Songs in the Key of Life Performance" tour, with a show at 8 p.m. Nov. 5 at North Little Rock's Verizon Arena. There is an eight-ticket limit per household and the arena is using its Credit Card Entry (formerly Paperless Ticketing) system.

Top Hats & Tutus

Hot Springs Children's Dance Theatre Co. will hold a fundraiser, "Top Hats And Tutus En Pointe," 7 p.m. Saturday at LakePointe Church, 1343 Albert Pike, Hot Springs.

Performances will include Amy Bramlett dancing to "Indecise," a French song by Coralie Clement; Deanna Karlheim performing a pointe solo choreographed by Artistic Director Edmond Cooper to Bobby Darin's version of "Mack the Knife"; pre-professional dancers Elizabeth Solleder and Kodie Brown performing solo variations related to the theme; and excerpts from the company's spring production, Cinderella. Admission is free; donations will be accepted. They'll be serving wine and light hors d'oeuvres.

French focus

Jess Anthony will present an organ recital at 3 p.m. Sunday in the sanctuary of Park Hill Presbyterian Church, 3520 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock. The first half of the program will focus on French music -- Trois Nouvelles Pieces by Charles-Marie Widor, Meditation by Maurice Durufle and Choral No. 3 in a minor by Cesar Franck. Ballet auditions

Blackbird Academy of Arts, 1058 Front St., Suite 102, Conway, will hold open auditions Sunday at the academy for all dancers ages 8 to adult for its production of Sergey Prokofiev's ballet Cinderella. Auditioners should have a minimum of three years of ballet training. Audition times: dancers ages 8-9, 1:30-2:30 p.m.; ages 10-12, 2:30-3:30 p.m.; age 13 and up, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Register 30 minutes before each audition time. There is a $25 audition fee. Rehearsals will take place Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons, September until early December; full rehearsals will commence after the first of the year. 'Broadway bound'

The deadline is Tuesday to sign up for "Broadway Bound With YPA," an audition workshop involving Broadway performers teaching from material from Broadway shows, 4-9 p.m. Sept. 18 and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Sept. 19 at Pulaski Academy, 12701 Hinson Road, Little Rock.

Workshop facilitators for the Young Performers of America conference will include student performances, critique and feedback and vocal performance, acting, dance/choreography and audition master workshops with Mandy Gonzalez (Wicked, In the Heights, Aida, Lennon), Destin Owens (Rent, Chicago, Smokey Joe's Cafe), Tommy Bracco (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast) and Dell Howlett (faculty member at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts; Aida, The Color Purple, Bombay Dreams, Pippin and West Side Story).
