Trina Gonzales and Amanda Johnson bonded the way only "2 Hip Chicks" can -- over clothes, shoes and jewelry.
Like any successful shoppers, they wanted more -- "repurposed furniture, upcycled, salvaged, vintage, jewelry and good ol' junk," as Gonzales describes it.

So the two pulled up stakes and started traveling, selling their unique boutique selections on the road on weekends while still running their shop in Tulsa, Okla., during the week.
It was exhausting, Johnson says. So they upcycled their partnership and created their own roadshow, looking for towns where their merchandise might be unique. This weekend, they're stopping in Fort Smith for the first time.
"We'll have 110 vendors -- that's small for us," Johnson says. "But that's all the facility holds."
Both will have booths -- but both will also be "there from the time it opens till it closes. We're very personable. We love being in the middle of it."
And being hip, of course.
