When officers arrived at the school at 13420 David O Dodd Road about 8:20 a.m., the fight was under control, the report said, but "there were numerous students yelling, jumping on tables, and using profanity throughout the cafeteria."

Officers and school personnel calmed the situation and removed the students who had been involved in the fight.

Video footage showed two students, who are minors and not listed by name in the police report, "exchanging words" before getting into a fight. The video also showed several other students making hand gestures and urging others to join the fight, the report says. Five other students then joined the fight.

A 51-year-old security guard who tried to stop the fight was hit in the face and his glasses were broken, the report says.

Four students were issued citations for disorderly conduct and inciting a riot and were released to their parents. One of the students in the initial fight fled the school before the student could be taken into custody. Officers searched but did not find the student, who was facing charges of third-degree battery, criminal mischief, inciting a riot and disorderly conduct.

Another student, Lewis Wallace, 18, was transported to the Pulaski County jail on charges of inciting a riot and disorderly conduct. He was not listed on the jail's inmate roster Friday night.
