WELCOME STUDENTS

Clinton School introduces 11th socially conscious crop

The Clinton School of Public Service, which admitted its first class in 2005, welcomed 39 new students Aug. 20 at a reception at Trapnall Hall.

The school's 11th class includes students from 14 states and nine countries. Guests were greeted by Clinton School Dean Skip Rutherford and his wife, Billie. The students enjoyed drinks and appetizers as they mingled with local leaders and dignitaries.

The Clinton School was the first in the nation to offer a master's degree in public service. Students have completed more than 660 service projects in Arkansas, the nation and the world, Skip Rutherford said. The new students have already begun work on 10 Arkansas-based team projects for this school year.
