The treasurer of a parent-teacher organization in Benton faces a felony theft charge in a case of missing and unaccounted-for money.
Amanda Tiner, 30, of Mabelvale is charged in connection with unapproved charges to the Angie Grant Elementary PTO account that resulted in more than $9,000 disappearing, according to a statement.
Benton police first learned of the theft earlier this month after an audit of the account.
Tiner was arrested and sent to the Saline County jail, where she was released on $5,000 bond.
