LITTLE ROCK — The Little Rock School District is offering a reward for information about suspicious fires at two elementary school playgrounds.

The fires were reported July 31 at Franklin Elementary School and Aug. 2 at Geyer Springs Gifted and Talented Academy. The district said it's offering a $2,500 reward for each location for a total of $5,000.

The district said the fires were intentionally set and caused about $225,000 in damages. The damaged areas of the playground remain closed.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Little Rock fire marshal.
