Robinson project to cause lane closures in Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK — Ongoing renovations to the Robinson Center Music Hall will cause more traffic slowdowns in downtown Little Rock.

The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department says parts of LaHarpe Boulevard will be closed this week because of the project. Eastbound lanes of the road will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., beginning Monday and ending Friday.

On Saturday, eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The affected section is on LaHarpe between Chester Street and the intersection of Markham Street, President Clinton Avenue and Cumberland Street.

The $68 million renovation project at Robinson began in July 2014 and is expected to wrap up by fall 2016.
