LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge says the state will receive just more than $121,500 as part of a settlement with Millennium Health over allegations of false billing of Medicare, Medicaid and other federal health programs.
Rutledge said Tuesday that Millennium — formerly known as Millennium Laboratories — will pay a total of $256 million to 49 states and the District of Columbia for causing physicians to order unnecessary urine drug tests.
San Diego-based Millennium is one of the largest urine drug testing laboratories in the United States.
