A Lonoke man arrested for the death of his girlfriend's 11-month-old child is being held without bond after appearing in court Tuesday, the prosecutor for the case said.

Chuck Graham, the prosecutor for the 23rd Judicial District in Lonoke, said a judge approved his request to hold Brian Keith Raybon, 39, without bond for capital murder.

Graham said official charges have not yet been filed but confirmed that Raybon was arrested and is being held for capital murder, first-degree domestic battery and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Police said they responded to a house on East 4th Street in Lonoke on Sunday to find the boy unresponsive with body trauma. He was taken to a North Little Rock hospital, where he later died, police said.

Raybon is next due in court for a hearing Jan. 19.
