Body found in Garland County ditch, sent to coroner's office

The body of an unidentified man was found in a ditch in Garland County about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Hot Springs Sentinel-Record.

Garland County Sheriff Mike McCormick told the newspaper that no signs of trauma were found to the body discovered in a curve on Lazy Lane, and no foul play is suspected at this point in the ongoing investigation.

On Tuesday afternoon, sheriff's office spokesman Scott Hinojosa said it is believed the man died of natural causes. He added that the man's identity is not being released at this time.

According to the Sentinel-Record, the body has been turned over to the Garland County coroner's office.
