Fayetteville police said that a 15-year-old girl missing from the city since September was found in a nearby city Saturday.
Police said in a Facebook post that Lea Robertson was found safe after she ran away Sept. 7.
The post said police are investigating who Robertson was with in the three months she was missing, and no further information about her whereabouts was provided.
A message left with a Fayetteville police spokesman was not immediately returned Tuesday.
According her page on the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children website, Robertson was believed to be in the area of Springdale to the north of Fayetteville. The page said she may have been in the company of an adult man.
