A man has been arrested in the shooting death of a Texarkana man during a drug-related home invasion last month, but authorities are still searching for a second suspect, police said.

U.S. marshals arrested 27-year-old Rashod Rushing on Friday in Dangerfield, Texas, Texarkana police said in a news release. Rushing was charged with second-degree murder in the killing of 33-year-old Julian Bolton.

Authorities are searching for Justin Damone Johnson, 27, in the killing of 22-year-old Trevon Staten.

Bolton and Staten were found fatally shot Nov. 20 at the Beacon Point Apartments on Arkansas Boulevard.

Police said several types of drugs, weapons and money were found at the scene and that shots were fired from multiple weapons.

Police are offering a reward for information leading to Johnson’s arrest. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 903-793-STOP.
