Katherine Virginia Price became the bride of David Michael Light at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, in a candlelight ceremony at First United Methodist Church of Jonesboro. The Rev. John Miles officiated.

Leah and Val Price of Jonesboro are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Katherine and the late Herbert H. Price Jr. of Jonesboro and Virginia and the late Raymond Gilliam of Harrisburg.

The groom is the son of Van and Harry Light of Cammack Village. He is the grandson of the late Gloria and Allen Nixon of Jonesboro.

The chancel held two urns filled with white and ivory peonies, hydrangeas, garden roses, flocked miniature pine cones and frosted branches. Music was by organist Brian Henkelmann and vocalists Devin Robinson, Michelle Byrd, Brandon Bishop and Adonais Finch.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory ballgown with a crystal-covered bodice, sweetheart neckline and a tulle skirt. Her tulle veil was cathedral-length. She carried a bouquet of white peonies, hydrangeas and roses.

Sarah Dehart Culpepper of Lowell and Laura Townsend of Jonesboro were the bride's honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Meredith Kittler of Carlisle; Kelli Mansfield of Dallas; Cassie Cooper, Madison Allison and Gilliam French, all of Jonesboro; and Mollie Price of Columbia, Mo., and Abbie Price of Jonesboro, sisters of the bride. They wore black chiffon one-shoulder gowns and carried bouquets of white hydrangeas and flocked miniature pine cones.

Flower girls and ring bearer were Claire and Aubrey Dayton of Raleigh, N.C., cousins of the groom, and Luke Elkins of San Antonio, cousin of the bride.

Serving as best man was Michael Ivers of Centerton. Groomsmen were Bryan Speed of Little Rock; David Estes of Tulsa; Orlando Gonzalez of Warren; Brian Light of Little Rock, brother of the groom; and Alex Nixon of Nashville, Tenn., and Zach Nixon of Memphis, cousins of the groom.

A reception in the ballroom of Church Street Station followed the ceremony. Guests entered through an archway of lighted branches. Tables held winter-inspired centerpieces of wedding flowers and votive candles hung from tree branches.

The bride graduated in May from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelor's degree in human environmental sciences. She recently completed a retail merchandising internship with Dillard Department Stores.

The groom has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the university. He is an internal auditor.

The couple will reside in Springdale after a honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica.
