Robber's wallet found, police say

An armed robber left his wallet behind after holding up a man Sunday in Little Rock, police reported.

Officers responded about 11:13 p.m. to 5408 Halifax Drive. Jorge Lopez-Torres, 23, said a man driving a red Chevrolet pickup had pulled up and asked for a cigarette, according to a police report. Lopez-Torres said the man then pointed a black revolver at him and demanded money.

The robber took a wallet and cellphone from Lopez-Torres and fled west, the report states. But he dropped his own wallet, which held identification. Police kept the wallet as evidence. It contained the man's Social Security card and driver's license.

Officers searched the area and went to the suspected robber's listed address, but no arrests were made.
