A Pine Bluff man was killed Saturday afternoon in a one-vehicle wreck in Jefferson County, Arkansas State Police said.
Henry Pierce, 52, of Pine Bluff was driving north on Arkansas 365 about 12:20 p.m. in a 2015 Chevrolet Corvette when he drove off the road and struck some trees and was thrown from the car, state police said.
A passenger, Eddie Thompson, 26, of Pine Bluff, also was thrown from the car and was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, according to state police.
Conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash, state police said.
