Road work by the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department will require two interstate lane closures in Little Rock on Wednesday and Thursday.
The westbound outside lane of Interstate 40 just west of Morgan to the Faulkner County line, mile markers 138 to 140, will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, state Highway and Transportation Department spokesman Jeff Whatley said in a news release.
The eastbound outside lane of Interstate 30 will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday for driving surface improvements, Whatley said.
The lane will close from mile markers 136 to 138, west of the Arch Street overpass to east of the I-30/I-440/I-530 interchange.
The lane closures will be weather permitting and traffic will be controlled by barrels and warning signs, Whatley said.
