Cpt. Scott Adams, commander of the Blytheville Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division, said officers obtained warrants to arrest Ron Redmon, 23, in the slaying of Justin Harrison, 31, of Blytheville.

Officers responded to a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Ninth Street and Chickasawba Avenue the evening of Aug. 28 and found Harrison unresponsive. Medical examiners found that Harrison had been shot and ruled the death as a homicide, Adams said.

Redmon became a suspect in the investigation this week, Adams said, noting that he should be considered armed.

Anyone with information about Redmon is asked to call the Blytheville Police Department at (870) 763-4411 or (870) 762-COPS.
