Man sought in LR adult novelty store robbery

Police are searching for a man who stole a cash register from an adult novelty store in Little Rock on Friday night.

An employee at Adam and Eve, located at 1510 S. University Ave., said a man entered the store about 6:05 p.m., selected some merchandise and approached the counter to check out when he demanded all of the money from the cash register, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

The man reached across the counter and took the cash register drawer, which had an undisclosed amount of cash in it, the report states.

The employee told police that the man attempted to break the locked front door of the business open but could not, and threatened to "kill everyone" if she didn't open the door, according to the report.

The man ran south on University Avenue with the cash register once the employee opened the door, police said.

The suspect is described as 5-foot-1 black man, weighing 220 pounds and was wearing a black coat during the robbery.

Officers searched the area, but made no arrests,the report states.
