Whole Hog Cafe adds location at TAC Air

Whole Hog Cafe will open a new location next week at TAC Air at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, officials with TAC Air announced Friday.

The barbecue restaurant will open Tuesday in the south hangar space on the west side of the airport, which currently houses The Flight Deck Restaurant, TAC Air spokesman David Edwards said.

The Flight Deck Restaurant will close on Friday, Edwards said.

"We feel like [Whole Hog Cafe] is a better fit for TAC Air and for our customer base," Edwards said. "We are very looking forward to having them on the west side of the airport with us."

TAC Air recently purchased the Central Flying Service facilities at the airport and operates the fueling, ground handling, hangar operations and other related services there, according to a news release on its website.

The restaurant will close Saturday through Monday while Whole Hog Cafe moves into the space.

Whole Hog opened its first restaurant in 2000, and now has 13 locations in Arkansas, Missouri, New Mexico and New Jersey, according to its website.

Edwards said wasn't sure what the hours of operation would be yet and a Whole Hog Cafe spokesman was not available for comment.
