Knights Party national director Thom Robb told The Harrison Daily Times that the group is leasing the space for a year. Robb was national director of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, which the Southern Poverty Law Center says Robb renamed the Knights Party.

The billboard shows a young girl holding a dog and reads "It's NOT Racist to (love) Your People," with an image of a heart in place of the word love. It includes the website whiteprideradio.com, which redirects to kkkradio.com.

Another billboard in Harrison that read "Anti-Racist is a Code Word for Anti-White" was taken down more than a month ago.

Officer's fatal shots deemed justified

NORMAN, Okla. -- A Norman police officer has been cleared in the shooting death of a 34-year-old man who approached the officer with a hammer.

In a letter sent this week to the Norman Police Department, Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn said his office's review of the Dec. 14 shooting determined the use of force was "justified and appropriate under the law."

Police said officer Heather Glazier shot Martin Sanchez-Juarez after she responded to a call and came across the man carrying a hammer. Police said Sanchez-Juarez continued to advance toward the officer and refused her orders to drop the hammer. They said he smashed the patrol car's mirror with the hammer before Glazier shot him three times.

Police said Sanchez-Juarez died six days after the shooting.

Study says flights to Texas feasible

STILLWATER, Okla. -- A study indicates that a north central Oklahoma community could support daily commercial airline flights from its airport to the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

The Journal Record reported the study by the city of Stillwater is the latest in a three-year effort to obtain commercial air service at the Stillwater Regional Airport.

A Stillwater Chamber of Commerce official says the goal is to begin providing jet service for 50 passengers at the airport.

Stillwater received a nearly $450,000 grant in September from the federal transportation department to establish commercial air service. The director of the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission says the money allows Stillwater city and civic leaders to compete for commercial air service that might otherwise be unobtainable.
