Little Rock man shot New Year's Eve

A Little Rock man was shot outside a southwest Little Rock night club Wednesday night, according to police.

Police responded at 2:34 p.m. Thursday to Veteran’s Administration Hospital, 4300 W. Seventh St,. where Michael Fluellen, 55, told police he'd been shot, according to a Little Rock police report.

He said at 12:30 a.m. he heard fireworks and shooting when a ricochet hit him in his left leg while walking outside Club Elevations, 7200 Colonel Glenn Road, the report states.

Fluellen told police he did not see who shot him, and he went home to treat his wound. The next morning Fluellen went to the hospital for treatment when he felt a bullet in his leg, police said.

Fluellen’s injury is not life-threatening. No arrests were made, and an investigation is ongoing.
