Arkansas Achievers

Autumn Jones of Conway has been awarded a Leadership Scholarship to attend Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge. She is the daughter of David and Devonna Jones and is a senior at Conway Christian School.

Sarah Norvell of Fayetteville has been awarded the Marshall Scholarship to attend the University of Oxford and pursue an graduate degree in Greek and Roman History.

Dr. Annette Holeyfield, professor of health and physical education and head of the Department of Health and Physical Education at Arkansas Tech University, is the first recipient of the Arkansas Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Lifetime Achievement Award.

Matt Gideon, of Arkansas Tech University, has been awarded the Wildlife Leadership Award by The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation for being an outstanding student conservation leader.

Ruthie Bain, of Benton, has been awarded the 2014 leadership award by the Arkansas Social Work Board for outstanding service at the board's Annual Meeting of the Delegate Assembly.

Chris Ingram, of Little Rock, a senior mass media communication major and station manager for Henderson State University's radio station, placed third in a national competition for college media students. Ingram received the award in the category of Best Radio Promo/PSA.

Bart Barlogie, M.D., Ph.D, of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Myeloma Institute, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Chicago Chapter of the Israel Cancer Research Fund.

Ashley Lyons, of Vilonia, has been awarded a President's Scholarship to attend Williams Baptist College. She is the daughter of Jimmy Jr. and Sandy Lyons and is a senior at Vilonia High School.

Alexander Robbins, of Helena, has been awarded a Dean's Scholarship to attend Williams Baptist College. He is the son of Robbie and Tracy Robbins and is a senior home-schooled student.

Amanda Wright, of Dell, has been awarded a Leadership Scholarship to attend Williams Baptist College. She is the daughter of Jessica Feagin of Dell and Richard Wright of Little Rock. She is a senior at Gosnell High School.

Braden Zini, of Little Rock has been awarded a Leadership Scholarship to attend Williams Baptist College. He is the son of Michael and Amy Zini and is a senior at Central Arkansas Christian School.

The following students were awarded the Alumni Association Scholarship at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock:
