Hill, who's rated the No. 18 receiver and the No. 153 overall prospect in the nation by ESPN, was being counted on to give the Hogs a breakaway threat next fall at receiver.

He committed to the Hogs on Aug. 29 during a ceremony at the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame inside Verizon Arena in North Little Rock.

Hill, 6-1, 192 pounds, 4.42 seconds in the 40-yard dash, had narrowed approximately 20 scholarship offers down to Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

He officially visited Alabama over the weekend and has plans to visit Ohio State on Jan. 23 and then visit the Razorbacks on Jan. 30.

Hill's stepfather, Montez Peterson, told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette on Jan. 12 that the departure of Jim Chaney as Arkansas' offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach created uncertainty.

Chaney is now quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator at Pittsburgh.

Another concern for Hill is that receivers coach Michael Smith hasn't signed an extension.
