A Camden man was killed Monday after the vehicle he was driving left the road and hit a tree, state police said.
Matthew S. Jacobs, 34, was driving south on U.S. 79N about 9 p.m. when the accident occurred, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report.
Jacobs was pronounced dead by Ouachita County Coroner Sylvester Smith at 9:35 p.m.
It wasn't clear what caused the accident. The weather was clear and the road dry at the time, state police said.
Jacobs' death marked the 19th on Arkansas roads in 2015, according to preliminary state police figures.
