Locations to show governor's speech

Gov. Asa Hutchinson's scheduled speech on health care Thursday will be shown live at several sites across the state so the public can watch.

The speech, which will focus on the state's private option plan, is to begin at 10 a.m. in Little Rock. The public can watch the governor's health care speech live at the following University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Regional Medical Center locations across Arkansas:

• UAMS South, 1617 N. Washington St., Magnolia.

• UAMS South Central, 4010 Mulberry St., Pine Bluff.

• UAMS North Central, 1215 Sidney St., Batesville.

• UAMS Northwest, 1125 N. College Ave., Fayetteville.

• UAMS Southwest, 300 E. Sixth St., Texarkana.

• UAMS West, 612 S. 12th St., Fort Smith.

• UAMS Northeast, 223 E. Jackson St., Jonesboro.

• UAMS East, 1393 Arkansas 242 South, Helena-West Helena.

• UAMS Northwest, 601 W. Maple Ave., Suite 102, Springdale.

At least one additional site may be added for the public in Pulaski County, a UAMS official said Tuesday.
